Meet Sarah Conner, Lead Case Manager

Sarah Conner, Lead Case Manager
Sarah Conner is the Lead Case Manager at Asheville Recovery Center, where she has been a vital part of the team for over four years. Her journey into addiction recovery was inspired by her work as a house manager in a sober living community in Miami, FL, where she discovered her passion for supporting women in recovery.
Sarah’s professional background is rooted in hands-on experience, beginning her career as a tech at ARC and building on her management experience in sober living and a detox facility. She is currently a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Registered (CADC-R). Her approach to case management is rooted in meeting clients where they are and offering support tailored to their unique needs. She finds immense fulfillment in witnessing clients grow, change, and reap the benefits of their hard work in recovery.
What sets Asheville Recovery Center apart, according to Sarah, is the compassionate care provided to clients. “We treat clients like people and guide them in a loving, compassionate way,” she says. Her work has taught her that while every client shares the goal of sobriety, each person’s journey is distinct, requiring individualized support and understanding.
A Glimpse into Sarah’s Life
Originally from Raleigh, NC, Sarah is a lover of sushi—her favorite dish—and enjoys the energy of rock and metal music. Her favorite movie is Pacific Rim, and she’s a big fan of Game of Thrones. A fun fact about Sarah is that she shares her home with two unique pets: Bentley, a 50-pound rescue dog she saved in Miami, and Pumpkin, a black jumping spider with an orange dot and green fangs.
Sarah’s favorite local spot in Asheville is Green Tea, where she often enjoys sushi. If she could travel anywhere, the Philippines would be her destination of choice.
Sarah’s dedication to her role and her genuine compassion for clients make her an integral part of the Asheville Recovery Center team.
