Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors

A class of antidepressants that increase levels of norepinephrine, serotonin, and dopamine by inhibiting the enzyme monoamine oxidase. They are highly effective but require strict dietary restrictions to avoid a hypertensive crisis.
